Lesley Walden - Challenge 8

Using Clarity card, a post it circle mask and some torn paper masks I brayered the landscape using first a blue and then a very light touch of black dye based ink. The snow effect in the sky is the result of a light spray of water. I stamped 2 of the hares from the woodland stamp set and the wood using the small 3 trees stamp several times. I also used this stamp sideways to make the tufts of grass. I added a few extra tufts with a black pen. For the background I stamped the mistletoe sprig over the card in versamark and embossed with snowflake tinsel embossing powder. Finally I lightly sponged this with first the same blue and black inks I had used for the main picture.

My card was created on grey card using white paint on the
Gelli plate. the stamps were embossed with silver and white
and sky blue on top using brushes.

It was difficult to capture this in a photo, but the border trees are glazed and the trees in the main picture have a frost on them. It looks so much better in the flesh, so to speak!
