Sue Cramp - Challenge 2

Sue Cramp

I stamped and embossed the new birdcage stamp onto Theuva card and distressed with broken china and squeezed lemonade distress inks.  I cut this into a tag and stamped the edges with the cherry blossom stamp and the music stamp from the Joy Frame kit.  I then stamped the new birdcage again and decoupaged onto the tag to give dimension.

The backing paper is from a Pink Paislee pack called Spring Jubilee which came free with a Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.  I chose this paper because it has a birdcage and bird flying free.  I stamped the edges with the cherry blossom stamp along with the music and bird stamp again and distressed the edges with broken china distress ink so that the whole thing had a unified feel.  I also coloured the cherry blossom with a promarker to match the colour of the flowers on the background paper.

  1. What a pretty card Sue, love the decoupage of the cage. Hope you have enjoyed entering the challenge and best of luck.

  3. Thank you Naomi. I did enjoy this challenge and love the new design club stamp.
The squeezed lemonade and broken China combined to make a really vibrant green which is quite stunning. Sue
