Lesley Walden - Challenge 6

Lesley Walden

I started this project with a sky background I'd previously made with watercolours spritzed with water.  I brayered the hills and grass using torn copy paper masks in true Barbara fashion, stamped the "pear tree", two of the "Hares" from the woodland stamp set, "Grasses 2 and 3" and finally on of the mice from "Mice on the Crescent".  He's a bit difficult to spot but he's hiding at the front in the grasses.

I drew a a few extra bits of grass below the hares to ground them and also along the grass ridge below the tree.  The tree leaves and trunk were coloured with brush markers adding a few extra falling leaves and to brighten it up I added a few dots and lines with a gold pen.

The paper behind the main picture was made by scrunching up some copy paper and going over with two distress inks to match the colour in the main picture.
