Shelagh Metselaar - Challenge 10

Shelagh Metselaar

I had fun searching through my Clarity collection and coming up with something different.  I have given it the title of 'I Have a Dream'; who is having the dream I wonder?  The lady, the cat, the blackbird?  I think my scene may have another purpose, however.

My Mum will attain the grand age of 87 just after New Year and I will be travelling down, whatever the weather, to spend a few days with her as she is now quite disabled.  In her youth, she was one of the first to wear the 'new look' in her home town and I think the elegant lady certainly harks back to that era.  With this in mind and a few additions, this will become her birthday card.

  2. Hi Shelagh, I love how you have a little story and theme to go with your card, that is how I most craft, with a story in my head. My Mam too looked lovely in this style of clothing. I hope you have a great time with your Mam and good luck in the competition. x
