Carole that is amazing, so effective and a beautiful, totally individual bag. Just lovely. Hope you were inspired by my little napkin and you have with out doubt taken it to the next step. I think is fantastic. Thanks for entering the Clarity Stamp Challenge and good luck.
Thanks for the lovely feedback Naomi - It's great to have the opportunity to showcase other projects & I thought this bag was the perfect blank canvas for these poppies :-) x
Ooh Carole that is fantastic - that is one of my most favourite stencils and perfect for the bag. I must admit I've been wondering how I could bling (or should that be Clarityfy) the bag on my mobility scooter, but didn't know what products would do the job. Can I ask what you used? Whatever I use needs to work on black and dark blue tho so might not be so easy. There will be something that I can do ... It will be fun trying things out.
Hi Alison, Thank you for the lovely compliment, I love this stencil too. I used Archival Adirondacks in Geranium Red & Olive as I thought these would be more water resistant, but I also used some distress inks as I wanted the blues, yellow and other shades of green. Not sure what you could use on blue/black - I wonder if embossing powder would work on material? I've never tried it - maybe Barbara's expertise may come in handy here? :-) Good luck with your project x
Carole I love this bag, I saw it on FB and wanted to make one straight away, or start eating Special K?? you have made a brilliant job of decorating it. xxx
Thank you - I enjoyed stencilling it....I just hope that if it gets wet when I use it the inks will stay put! I didn't have a great variety of permanent inks so used distress inks too - fingers crossed! x
What a lovely and unique way of using those stamps. You can be sure that no-one else will have such a lovely piece of work. Congratulations on your badge this month. xx Maggie
