It's a while since I did this Lesley but I think I placed the butterfly inny on the gelli card then put the flower stencil over the the top and brushed through it with distress inks, taking care not to go over the butterfly. Then I removed the flower stencil and placed the butterfly over the top and filled it in, deepening the colors and used the journaling stamps to add interest. Hope you can make sense of this!! I love how the butterfly merges with, yet stands out from the background and the clever choice of colours enhance this further. Good luck with Challenge 23. ;~}
