Hi Moyà, I'm complete agreement with Carol,I love your design and the skep is beautifully formed. You must 'bee happy' with your card! Wishing you success in this month's challenge. ;~}
Hi Shelagh, I had to google the word skep to find out what it was - you learn something new every day. I thought it was apt as it was a technique that Barbara demonstrated in one of her "in the classroom" sessions years ago and I was really taken with it... good to see you at the retreat...
Moyà, I only knew 'skep' from teaching practice . . . bla bla bla. . . years ago, my given topic was 'Houses and Homes' and my late but much loved dad made a straw skep followed by a wooden beehive to help me along and insisted the class 'should know the difference.' Decades on the word still persists in my memory! Sadly, I have not seen Barbara's 'classroom' you refer to but cannot envisage being able to replicate it anyway. Great to see you too at The Retreat which was fab. ;~}
