    1. Thanks Emma - Not too sure of the techie aspects of blogging yet. Perhaps Barbara could do a blog about blogging for the uninitiated some time!

      I decorated the box for my dad's birthday present. Took ages to decide what to actually do, but knew that I wanted to use the fuchsia stamps, as mum loved them & always grew them. Fitted with his love of flowers also.

      The box was from The Works (my second home after Clarity!) as was the paper that I eventually decided to use to cover it (I think) I stamped the flowers in a matching ink (possibly sweet plum memento ) then set to work colouring them using spectrum noir pencils. I wasn't sure whether the flowers would look right stamped straight onto the designed paper, but I really enjoyed the challenge of making the two work together! A bit of matching card to mat & layer, some co-ordinating inks on the edges of the box that were not covered & that was it.
      Best of all, dad loved it!
